A Day in the Life of a Marketing Specialist

The short version?

You will work with the marketing team and partner with our sales, product, and operations teams to develop both digital and more traditional lead generation marketing campaigns and tactics (such as direct mail and event marketing). You will create deploy, manage, monitor and report on tactics and campaigns designed to drive demand, generate qualified leads and help increase close ratios.

Specifically, Though You'll

  • Optimize campaigns and measure frequent A/B tests on email, digital, or content pieces
  • Define the buyer’s journey and align operational programs such as nurture mapping and lead scoring to qualify and prioritize leads
  • Define and manage the lead flow between Pardot and Salesforce - including list uploads, routing to sales, and movement down funnel
  • Track KPIs and optimize monthly budget based on performance and budget prerequisites - be able to inform and discuss with executive team
  • Work closely with sales leadership to define SLAs, sales cadences, follow up process and handling of leads
  • Manage tradeshow program, including collateral and marketing giveaways
  • Develop, plan, and execute direct mail campaigns

  • You enjoy collaboration and have strong interpersonal skills
  • You collaborate with outside vendors, such as marketing agencies, graphic designers, free-lance writers, and printers to achieve campaign objectives
  • You are familiar with B2B marketing and sales processes, as well as marketing automation and CRM software. Experience with Salesforce and/or Pardot a plus.
  • You are knowledgeable about marketing mediums such as direct mail, event marketing, and search engine marketing
  • You know how to manage, update, and maintain marketing collateral inventory
  • You have experience with WordPress and writing website copy
  • You have excellent organizational and project management skills
  • You are a marketing guru with the ability to plan and execute a project from beginning to end
  • You have knowledge of at least one of the following: human resources, payroll, healthcare, or software industries
  • You are a master multi-tasker and thrive while doing so
  • You have 2-4 years of experience in digital marketing and lead generation
  • You are a local to Pittsburgh (remote applicants will not be considered)
