The Background



The Marketing Director will be responsible for the development and implementation of a global marketing and communications strategy.



He/she will work closely with the Leadership Team, Business Development and Operations to identify market opportunities, create market awareness, research customer needs, launch new initiatives, generate sales leads and be the main point of coordination globally.



The job holder will provide structure and support to the business development effort - around lead generation; internal and external communication; delivering collateral; supporting bids; preparing presentations; organising events and sharing knowledge.



This role can be based in either the US or UK, flexible working options available.



The Role



You'll be responsible for:

  • To design, agree and implement the global marketing plan to help achieve the Company's objectives
  • Manage day to day activity with PR, press and marketing communications agencies.
  • To work closely with Business Development and Operations to assess needs, demands and results of all Marketing campaigns
  • To deliver all marketing activity to deadline and in accordance with pre-determined budget and quality standards
  • Oversee the look and feel of the brand via all communication channels
  • Support the Business Development effort in the writing, editing and preparation of RFP's, tender documents and presentations, delivering documents on-time and to specification
  • Developing, writing and editing promotional material, coordinating the production of all print marketing collateral, maintaining consistent branding standards for presentations and ensuring collateral is delivered on-time and with maximum impact to the target audience
  • Contributing to the external web site. Pursue opportunities to expand and improve the site in terms of content development. Promote use of the website as a marketing tool for communication
  • Actively seeking out speaking opportunities at conferences, managing event sponsorships and co-ordinating the production of conference and event-related marketing collateral
  • Maintaining a calendar of events for all marketing related matters
  • Coordinate updates and participation for industry directories, surveys, website listings, etc
  • Develop and administer marketing database. Includes client and prospect information and mailing list maintenance.
  • Oversee corporate communications activities - external and Internal and all public relations efforts
  • Identify and work with external vendors and consultants to enhance the marketing effort and deliver against specific project objectives
  • Lead generation

The Person



Previous experience within the global mobility, relocation services, HR or related industry is an ESSENTIAL requirement
