Job Description

Pilot Freight Services, a global transportation and logistics provider headquartered in Glen Mills PA, seeks an experienced National Customer Service Representative, that will support National Accounts as a project coordinator, to work at our Corporate Headquarters Monday through Friday, regular business hours. To be considered for this position you must be able to work from our corporate office located in Glen Mills, PA.

The ideal candidate will have freight forwarding experience, along with excellent administrative and communication skills and will have an opportunity to grow with the company!

More thorough description of responsibilities:

  • Maintain the highest standards of customers service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Enter shipments into Navigator
  • Confirm shipment details with Pilot origin and destination offices
  • Manage and process revisions to shipments already entered into Navigator
  • Accurate rating of shipments to the GE ISL Tarifff.
  • Manage eWMS for accuracy; ensure that the ISL stations are ordering in and out inventory as it is received or shipped
  • Problem resolution regarding any eWMS discrepancies
  • Enter orders in and out of eWMS for East Central & West Zones as needed
  • Track and trace shipments
  • Update Tools in GE Seibel system
  • Troubleshoot issues related to shipments.
  • Provide resolution/corrective actions regarding problem shipments.
  • Timely and efficient communication with Pilot stations and customers.
  • Facilitate monthly dock checks.
  • Manage and update daily and monthly shipment data via Excel (Google Docs) and eWMS.
  • Manage warehouse billing as it relates to GE ISL
  • Research and obtain hard copy pods per customer requests.
  • Assist the Lead Project Coordinator and Implementation Manager as needed.
  • Must be available via cell phone for any after hours questions / concerns.
  • Hours will vary based on the department needs and requirements, which will be determined by the Lead Project Coordinator or NCS Manager, to include vacation back-up as needed.
